AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums across North America are throwing a Party for the Planet, making it the largest combined Earth Day, Endangered Species Day, and World Oceans Day celebration!
Party for the Planet: #SpringIntoAction connects families to nature through volunteer opportunities that improve our planet. Join us and other AZA-accredited zoos, aquariums and science centers as we work to improve our planet.
The Aquarium of Niagara is having a Beach Clean Up at Fort Niagara State Park to help do our part this year! We will meet in the northernmost parking lot of Fort Niagara, near the swimming pool. Please be sure to dress for the weather and to expect to get a little dirty. IF you have work or garden gloves, feel free to bring them! If not, gloves and materials to gather debris will be provided, as well as food and refreshments to help you refuel. We encourage everyone to bring a filled reusable water bottle to stay hydrated and water coolers will be provided for refills. The event will be held rain or shine.
