Seal Encounter

During your Seal Encounter, you get a behind-the-scenes look at the care and training of our marine mammals and join the trainers on the beach to meet a seal. At the Aquarium of Niagara’s Seal Encounter, you’ll make a pinniped pal for life!

Please note the following:

  • Seal Encounters do NOT include general admission. Admission must be purchased separately.
  • You must be at least 8 years old to participate in an Animal Encounter.
  • Participants cannot have participated in an animal rescue within 48 hours of the encounter start time.
  • Participants cannot be pregnant.
  • Participants must be able to kneel and walk up/down stairs without assistance.
