Chasing Ice Winter Camp

Quick Details

Time: 9:00am to 3:00pm, February 18th to 22nd

Ages: 6-10 years old

How do animals that live in cold environments deal with freezing temperatures? Find out in this week-long camp where we will explore animal adaptations that help them survive and how humans have improved our ability to survive in these conditions by observing nature. Hands-on activities, in-person observations, and outdoor explorations will illustrate that the cold is not as much of a challenge as we may think.

Participants are asked to bring their own lunch, snack, and water bottle each day; additional snacks and water refills will be provided. We will be spending some time outside, so please ensure participants are dressed accordingly.

Before and after care is available for an additional fee. We will have staff available to watch your child before camp starting at 8:00am and after camp ending at 4:00pm for $10. You can select this add on during registration.
