Sea Lion Shows

Embark on a special look at an amazing species, the California sea lion. Our trainers share the success stories of our rescued marine mammals as well as insight on this incredible species. This unique presentation demonstrates our true commitment for our beautiful family of marine mammals.
Rescue Harbor Seal Presentations

Join us outside at Rescue Harbor to meet our rescued seals! There are two species of seals at the Aquarium – grey seals and harbor seals – and they all have unique rescue stories. Watch as they work with trainers through various behaviors and husbandry activities and learn about the challenges their counterparts face in the wild.
Meet the Expert at the Discovery Cart
12pm & 4pm Daily
Join an educator to get an in-depth look at an animal or topic affecting one of our animals! You’ll interact with biofacts like bones, teeth, fur and more. The topic and location of this presentation changes daily!

It’s lunchtime for one of our aquarium animals and you are invited! Join us to learn about the techniques aquarists use to tailor diets and feedings to provide food in the best way for each animal.

Spend time with an Aquarium educator to learn more about amazing creatures living in aquatic environments. From sharks and turtles to the lesser-known urchins and snails, each day is different as the educator chooses which to highlight with a variety of artifacts. You will leave with a better understanding of how life can survive in a watery world.
