SEAsonings takes off the chill
Had enough slipping and sliding, sneezing and freezing? No need for cold medicine, just drop by the Aquarium of Niagara March 1st from 6 to 9 p.m. It’s time for the annual winter fundraiser, “SEAsonings – The Original Taste of Niagara.”
Held at the Aquarium on Whirlpool Street for the last 20 years, you don’t want to miss this delicious and delightful affair. Area restaurants and regional wineries will provide samples of their signature foods and fine wines. This mouth-watering benefit for the Aquarium and its living collection also will feature music by Premier Sound with DJ Pat Proctor. Turner Construction will present a basket and silent auction table with great prizes from jewelry to art, all donated by regional merchants. SEAsonings tickets are $45 per person.
Food samplings will be provided by Hard Rock Café, Lebro’s Restaurant, NCCC Culinary Arts Program, Red Coach Inn/Bistro at Old Fort Inn, Just Say Cheesecake, Suzanne’s Fine Dining, The Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls, TGIF of Niagara, Quality Inn & Suites, Trio’s Restaurant, Delaware North (The Top of the Falls restaurant), Westby’s, The Village Bake Shoppe and Dick & Jenny’s Bake & Brew.
Participating wineries include Arrowhead Spring Vineyard, Heron Hill Winery, Willow Creek Winery and Wagner Vineyards. Other beverages will be provided by Certo Brothers Distributing and Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
Marli’s Florist will do floral designing for the event. SEAsonings is sponsored by WJYE 96.1 FM, Niagara Frontier Publications and the Niagara Gazette. Tickets are available at the Aquarium, or call 285-3575, Ext. 206, to reserve them. Tickets also will be available at the door, but if possible please make reservations by Feb. 24th.
