Aquarium announces new board officers
The Aquarium of Niagara board of trustees has elected its executive officers for 2010.
They are president, Kevin Thompson, SUNY at Buffalo; first vice president, Richard Torcasio Jr., RT Systems Corp.; second vice president, Beverley S. Braun, Jaeckle, Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP; secretary, Julie Davis, Hodgson Russ attorneys-at-law, and treasurer, Stephen L. Kling, CPA.
The Aquarium, a not-for-profit facility, is located at 701 Whirlpool St., Niagara Falls. It will be marking its 45th anniversary in June. Special discounts and events will be offered that weekend. Built in 1965, the Aquarium is the oldest, year-round attraction in the city, other than the falls.
