Sea Education Volunteers!
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Sea Education Volunteers will be trained to act as exhibit interpreters, animal
ambassadors, and representatives for the Aquarium of Niagara. The Aquarium seeks enthusiastic and extraordinary people who are passionate about aquatic life and conservation. This opportunity provides a unique environment to educate and entertain thousands of people each year, while giving back to your community!
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Engage guests and assist them with directions and general
information about the Aquarium
• Educate people from all ages and backgrounds about aquatic life
• Promote the Aquarium’s dedication to education and
conservation by providing hands on experience with Aquarium
artifacts
• Inspire young guests with interactive programing
• There will be required training sessions, and additional training
as new exhibits come on display.

GUIDELINES
• Participants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• A background in education is helpful, but not required
• Must be able to commit to service hours
• This position is unpaid, and no monetary compensation will be
provided
|

• Confirmation of service hours will be provided
• Course credit may be possible, consult with your advisor
