DOCENT PROGRAM
The Aquarium of Niagara is looking for volunteers to participate in its docent program.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Docents are trained to act as exhibit interpreters, deliver mini-talks, interpret bio-facts, and answer visitors' questions. Training sessions are required, and additional training is given as new exhibits come on display. We require docents to have a set commitment of service hours.
GUIDELINES
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• A background in education is helpful, but not required
• Must be able to commit to service hours
• Being a docent is a volunteer position
