Docent Program |

The
Aquarium of Niagara is looking for volunteers to participate in its new
docent program expected to start up this winter. |
|
Program Overview Ø Docents will be trained to act as exhibit interpreters, deliver
mini-talks, interpret bio-facts, and answer visitors’ questions. Ø There will be required training sessions, additional training as new
exhibits come on display, and a set commitment to service hours. |
|
Guidelines Ø Must be at least 21 years of age Ø A background in education is helpful, but not required Ø Must be able to commit to service hours Ø Being a docent is a volunteer position |
